That is why its common to see any woman coupled up with the latest accessories. When it comes to hair the trend is also the same, the latest hair style is what most women want to wear. But for some women it has been impossible for them to have any hair style at all. This is due to itchiness and dryness which is very uncomfortable, that why it is important for any woman to know scalp treatment for dandruff.

Dandruff is a skin condition whereby white flakes shed off from the scalp. It is not contagious though it makes a person feel itchy and uncomfortable, they can also be embarrassing to the person bearing it. It can be difficult to treat that is why some people opt to shave their hair.

The common causes for this condition are; dead cells contained in the scalp which brings about the small white or grey flakes. Not combing the hair can also be a cause; research found out that people who do not comb their hair have more chances of getting dandruff.

Dry scalp skin is the commonest cause of the condition; a dry skin also causes flakes which will only add more to the condition. Oily skin can also cause dandruff; this condition is known as seborrheic dermatitis which is usually serious if not treated immediately.

The known symptoms of this condition are the white or grey flakes. When a person sees them they automatically know that they have dandruff. When someone scratches their scalp they fall on a person shoulders and are visible especially when a person wears something dark. This is usually embarrassing to some people because they might be considered as dirty.

The treatment for this condition depends on whether one has a severe or a mild condition. For a mild condition one needs to; comb their hair at least once on a daily basis, this will help in scratching off the flakes. One can also wash their hair with a little shampoo daily to wash of the dry cells. Another thing one can do is avoid scratching their scalp at all times even when washing with a shampoo, instead one should just massage gently. Some hair products should also be avoided or instead avoid mixing different types of hair products.

Another highly recommended home treatment is the use of apple cedar vinegar. The procedure is really easy when using vinegar what one needs to do is to take a cup of vinegar and mix it with warm water. This is a natural remedy so the quantity does not really matter as there are no side effects. When washing hair one should massage gently and not scratch as this prevents hair breakage and also prevents the flakes from surfacing.

The only effect that vinegar has is the smell which takes up to eight or twelve hours to clear. So if you are planning to step out it might not be wise to use vinegar on your hair. The end result for treating this right is a strong healthy hair which will ensure that you look neat and presentable.
