There are risks with taking these drugs, especially over a long period. Some people have become reliant or addicted.

There are basic practices that can be useful at boosting wellness sans medication. Consuming a diet that is balanced and healthy is important. People should regularly consume vegetables and fruits that contain the minerals and vitamins the body needs to function. Staying active through regular physical activity and exercise is also recommended for wellness.

Nowadays, many people are brought down by stresses and anxiety. This can lead to major health problems and so management of stress and anxiety is crucial to wellness. This can be done in a variety of ways, although many use hobbies, yoga, meditation and even prayer to help reduce stress. It is essential to relax the body and mind occasionally. Stopping destructive habits, including smoking, drug use and drinking alcohol, is beneficial.

It may take time before a person is capable of getting rid of all of their medications. Those who eat well, remain active and eliminate stress in life are more likely to feel good and be happy, without taking any medications. People attempting to live this lifestyle are still encouraged to make regular visits with their doctor to ensure they are in good health.
