A tropical plant commonly known as papaya world over is increasingly drawing attention in the medical field given the important role played by papaya leaf extract in fight against many life threatening ailments. Papaya leaf extract however is the center of attention as far as medicinal properties of this plant are concerned. The extract is now being prepared and sold by many companies as medicines for various diseases.

Running to buy this extract fro the nearby pharmacy of any other shop is not always the wise decision when the preparation is a costless and painless straight forward process. All that is required here is to wash some leaves from the plant, cut them into smaller pieces and then boil in about two liters of water. It is boiled till half all the water vaporizes. The resulting concentration is kept in a bottle for an immediate use or later use and can last for up to four days.

Currently the papaya leaf extract is widely used in the cure of dengue fever. It helps eliminate all the viruses and symptoms of this fever in correct dosage. It is also used in prevention and treatment of malaria as it contains anti-malarial properties. As for cancers, it has properties that enables it fight cancerous tumors and is used in the management of most of the common cancers.

Other than these, papaya leaf extract is very valuable in aiding of digestion, fighting of both internal and external worms, parasites, bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms. It has also been found to poses ability to fight viral infections such as the common cold virus. It also helps in burning of fats, relieving of menstrual pain among others.

It is a much sort after ingredient in many of the beauty product companies as it is used in shampoos for washing hair, strengthening and straightening them. It helps soften skin, cure wounds and in general cleaning of the skin which make it the number one component of many skin care products.

The benefits of papaya leaf extract are so many that it is impossible to discuss them in one occasion. This plant that readily grows in many homes worldwide should be therefore used to maintain healthy leaving.
