Other cooking oils will increase levels of cholesterol while EVOO lowers them. This amazing oil also has a great taste that will enhance the flavor of any recipe you have.

It is also important to your health that you maintain a healthy weight. A lot of folks do not realize that they may be carrying too much weight or need to gain a few pounds until they see their primary care doctor. You can evaluate your weight by calculating your body mass index, or BMI. To determine BMI, a mathematic formula compares the weight and height of a person.

You can use the mathematical formula to calculate your BMI or if you prefer, use an online calculator. There are several calculators available on the internet. You simply enter your height and weight and you will instantly know your body mass index. You are able to then compare your BMI to what is considered healthy for you. Obtaining your ideal BMI is a terrific goal to set. Working to reach the right body mass index is often a better approach than setting a specific weight to reach.
